Preparing for the Kraken Encounter
In King Legacy (available on Roblox), reaching the Third Sea is a major milestone that requires proving your strength against a formidable boss: the Kraken. This isn't just a standard raid; it is a progression gate that tests your combat readiness and preparation.
Before you can even challenge the beast, you must meet the level requirement of 4,000. Once you hit this threshold, a notification will appear on your screen directing you to speak with "The Squid" at the port in the starting island, Japan Island. This NPC acts as your gateway to the next world, but he will only grant you passage if you bring him proof of the Kraken's defeat.
Crafting the Heart of the Sea
To summon the Kraken, you need a specific item called the Heart of the Sea. This item is not a random drop; it must be crafted. You need to travel to Fiore Island and locate the hidden basement within the mansion on top of the hill.
Reach Fiore Island: Navigate to the mansion on the hill.
Find Jack Stones: Locate the secret trapdoor on the roof to access the basement where the NPC Jack Stones resides.
Gather Materials: You will need a variety of items collected from the first and second seas, including wood (chopping trees), Sea King’s blood, bones (from skeletons on Skull Island), fresh fish, angelic feathers, and undead Uzi.
Craft: Once you have all the required ingredients, interact with Jack Stones to forge the Heart of the Sea.
According to community reports, remember that you only need one Heart of the Sea per attempt. If you fail the challenge, you will need to gather the materials and craft another one to try again.
Summoning and Defeating the Kraken
With the Heart of the Sea in your inventory, return to the small island located behind the port near the starting area. Here, you will find a Mystery Altar. Interacting with this altar consumes your Heart of the Sea and spawns the Kraken.
Warning
The Kraken encounter is strictly a solo challenge. Other players cannot assist you in this fight. Furthermore, you have a strict 6-minute time limit to bring its 227,500 HP down to zero. Failing to defeat it within this window or dying during the fight means you must restart the process.
Combat Strategy Tips
Based on successful player strategies, mobility and consistent damage output are your best friends. The Kraken will use powerful tentacle swings and long-range water projectiles.
Focus on One Tentacle: Do not spread your damage. Focus on attacking one tentacle at a time to ensure you secure the kill before the timer expires.
Utilize Ranged Attacks: If your fruit or fighting style allows for heavy area-of-effect (AoE) or ranged damage, use it to whittle down the tentacles from a slightly safer distance.
Don't Fear the Water: While falling into the water in King Legacy can be dangerous, in this specific encounter, respawning usually places you back on the island, allowing you to get back into the fight quickly. However, every second spent respawning is a second lost toward your 6-minute goal.
Claiming Your Reward and Moving to the Third Sea
Once you successfully deplete the Kraken's health, it will drop a "Kraken's Cache." This is your proof of victory. Collect it and immediately return to The Squid at the port. Upon presenting the item, The Squid will recognize your achievement and grant you the ability to travel to the Third Sea.
